J. Warren Robicheaux
Chief Executive Officer
Warren serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Matagorda County Hospital District and provides executive leadership for all district asset initiatives.
Before joining the district in 2018, Warren served in senior administration and CEO roles at several facilities in the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System (ETMC). His list of accomplishments ranges from building replacement hospitals and establishing new service lines to leading award-winning quality programs.
Warren has over a decade of experience in healthcare and is board certified in healthcare management (FACHE). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Bryan L. Prochnow
Chief Financial Officer
Bryan manages the financial performance and provides operational and pragmatic support for the Matagorda County Hospital District.
Since joining the district in 2000 he has successfully secured financing for the new Matagorda Regional Medical Center hospital campus, the Doman Freeman Philips Medical Office Building, and the MRMC Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. Bryan is also a recipient of the CFO of the Year award from Quorum Health Resources.
Bryan has over 30 years of experience in acute care hospitals, and his experience ranges from Controller at large hospitals to Chief Financial Officer at both investor-owned and non-profit facilities. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and an MBA from Creighton University.
Chief Compliance Officer
Terri leads accreditation, legal and regulatory compliance operations for the Matagorda County Hospital District.
Terri has over 35 years of experience in healthcare administration and management, and has successfully led her organizations through multiple Joint Commission and CMS surveys.
Before joining the hospital district in 1988, Terri served as the Director of Health Information Management at Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca, Texas.
Terri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is certified in health compliance (CHC) and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) with the American Health Information Management Association.
Chief Nursing Officer
Mike leads system-wide nursing operations for the Matagorda County Hospital District. He is also responsible for the success of the Hospital Chaplain’s Auxiliary and the Student Governing Body programs.
Before joining the hospital district in 2013, Mike served as the director of 110-bed emergency department in Mesa, Arizona. There, he achieved the only Vision Award for outstanding leadership in a hospital system, and improved the rank of his emergency department from #13 to #1 in fewer than 18 months.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Langston University in Oklahoma, and a Master of Business Administration from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas.
Chief Business Development Officer
Aaron leads business and market development operations for the Matagorda County Hospital District. He is also responsible for medical staff development plan execution and physician recruitment.
Before joining the hospital district in 2014, Aaron worked for the Air Force Medical Operations Agency in San Antonio where he implemented the first national medical treatment facility outreach program.
Aaron earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University, a Master of Science in Clinical Practice Management from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Dallas Baptist University.
Aaron chairs the District Council on Experience Strategy and is a recipient of the CXPA's Customer Experience Impact Award. He is credentialed in healthcare marketing and advanced analytics, and holds professional certifications in process improvement and customer experience management.
Chief Quality Officer
LaToya facilitates the Quality and Performance improvement program for the Matagorda County Hospital District, promoting operational excellence via continuous improvement methodologies, organizational development training, and utilization management for cost effective quality healthcare services.
Before joining the district in 2016, LaToya served as a Lean Six Sigma Specialist for UT Southwestern healthcare system in Dallas, Texas. Her tenure encompassed advancing operational efficiencies and the quality of clinical coordination across the continuum of care including facilitation in opening the William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital in 2014.
LaToya earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biopsychology from Agnes Scott College and an MBA in Healthcare Management from American InterContinental University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, American Society of Quality Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and Certified Health Data Analyst with the American Health Information Management Association.
Executive Director of the MRMC Foundation
Tiffany leads the fundraising efforts for the Matagorda County Hospital District serving as Executive Director of the MRMC Foundation. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of MRMC committed to building community relationships and obtaining funding to support MRMC in delivering quality and compassionate healthcare.
As a native of Matagorda County, Tiffany takes pride in being a part of giving back to the community through her role managing community relations. She also assists with marketing for the hospital district. Tiffany attended Sam Houston State University where she studied social work.
She has worn many hats within the Matagorda County Hospital District over the last 21 years. She started out her career at MRMC as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, and then served as the Patient Advocate and Community Relations Manager before moving fulltime to the Foundation Executive Director position in 2014.
Director of Ancillary Services
Renee leads ancillary service operations for the Matagorda County Hospital District. She also co-chairs Wellness Matagorda County Inc., which is an organization committed to promoting community wellness. Renee attended Wharton County Junior College where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and has nearly 40 years of medical and healthcare administration experience.
Renee has been with the hospital district since 1979 when she began her career as a Pharmacy Technician. She moved to Emergency Services and Critical Care as a Registered Nurse in 1983, and enjoyed a distinguished career that ultimately led to her current role in 2010.
Renee was instrumental in the grant writing, business planning, and construction project management that yielded the new MRMC Wellness & Rehabilitation Center. Together with her wellness crew, the team actively promotes wellness in our community.
Director of Human Resources
Cindy leads the implementation of human resources policies, procedures, and employee relations for the Matagorda County Hospital District.
She was first hired as a Human Resources Assistant in 1991 before being promoted to the District Director of Human Resources in 1998. In 2014, Cindy also began serving as the Administrative Liaison to the MRMC Auxiliary Volunteer organization.
Cindy has been with the Matagorda County Hospital District for over 27 years, and has successfully managed employee benefits, wage and salary administration, recruiting, and workers compensation throughout her career. She received a Pinnacle Achiever Award for Program Director in 2012 and the Summit Award for Program Director in 2013 from the Custom Learning Systems for her outstanding leadership of the MRMC Service Excellence initiative.
Cindy obtained an Associates Degree in General Studies from Brazosport College, and possesses nearly 30 years of experience in healthcare administration.
