Mission
The Volunteer Chaplain Auxiliary Program provides spiritual care to patients, their families and friends, and hospital employees, staff and care providers at Matagorda Regional Medical Center by supporting those under stress and assisting them to reconnect with their emotional and spiritual wellness resources.
Purpose
The purpose of the Chaplain Auxiliary Program is to bring a healing and supportive ministry of the church to the patients, patients’ families, staff, employees and personnel of Matagorda Regional Medical Center. Through counseling, visiting, prayers, and attentive concern, the healing relationship between MRMC, patient and physician is to be enhanced.
