Chief Executive Officer

Warren Robicheaux, MHA, FACHE

Warren serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Matagorda County Hospital District and provides executive leadership for all district asset initiatives.

Before joining the district in 2018, Warren served in senior administration and CEO roles at several facilities in the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System (ETMC). His list of accomplishments ranges from building replacement hospitals and establishing new service lines to leading award-winning quality programs.

Warren has over a decade of experience in healthcare and is board certified in healthcare management (FACHE). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.

Bryan L. Prochnow Photo
Bryan L. Prochnow

Chief Financial Officer

Bryan L. Prochnow, MBA

Bryan manages the financial performance and provides operational and pragmatic support for the Matagorda County Hospital District.

Since joining the district in 2000 he has successfully secured financing for the new Matagorda Regional Medical Center hospital campus, the Doman Freeman Philips Medical Office Building, and the MRMC Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. Bryan is also a recipient of the CFO of the Year award from Quorum Health Resources.

Bryan has over 30 years of experience in acute care hospitals, and his experience ranges from Controller at large hospitals to Chief Financial Officer at both investor-owned and non-profit facilities. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and an MBA from Creighton University.

Terri Cox

Chief Compliance Officer

Terri L. Cox, RHIA, CHC

Terri leads accreditation, legal and regulatory compliance operations for the Matagorda County Hospital District.

Terri has over 35 years of experience in healthcare administration and management, and has successfully led her organizations through multiple Joint Commission and CMS surveys.

Before joining the hospital district in 1988, Terri served as the Director of Health Information Management at Memorial Medical Center in Port Lavaca, Texas.

Terri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. She is certified in health compliance (CHC) and is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) with the American Health Information Management Association.

Chief Nursing Officer

Tina Slaughter BSN, RN, CNOR

Tina is a life-long resident of Matagorda County and has served the Matagorda County Hospital District for over 20 years. Tina is a graduate of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and is a Certified Perioperative Nurse. Her impressive background includes over 30 years of nursing and surgical services leadership.

After serving in an interim role for nearly a year, we were excited to welcome Tina as our CNO in July of 2021.

Executive Director of the MRMC Foundation

Tiffany Foltyn

Tiffany leads fundraising efforts for the Matagorda County Hospital District in her role as Executive Director of the MRMC Foundation. The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of MRMC committed to building community relationships and obtaining funding to support MRMC in delivering quality and compassionate healthcare.

As a native of Matagorda County, Tiffany takes pride in giving back to the community through her community relations and fundraising role. She also assists with hospital district marketing and other outreach efforts.

Tiffany attended Sam Houston State University where she studied social work, and has worn many hats within the district over the last 20+ years. She began her career at MRMC as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, and then served as the Patient Advocate and Community Relations Manager before moving full-time to the Foundation Executive Director position in 2014.

Renee Savage

Director of Ancillary Services

Renee Savage, RN

Renee leads ancillary service operations for the Matagorda County Hospital District. She also co-chairs Wellness Matagorda County Inc., which is an organization committed to promoting community wellness. Renee attended Wharton County Junior College where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, and has nearly 40 years of medical and healthcare administration experience.

Renee has been with the hospital district since 1979 when she began her career as a Pharmacy Technician. She moved to Emergency Services and Critical Care as a Registered Nurse in 1983, and enjoyed a distinguished career that ultimately led to her current role in 2010.

Renee was instrumental in the grant writing, business planning, and construction project management that yielded the new MRMC Wellness & Rehabilitation Center. Together with her wellness crew, the team actively promotes wellness in our community.

Vanessa Green

Director of Human Resources

Vanessa Green

Vanessa leads the implementation of human resource policies, procedures and employee relations for the Matagorda County Hospital District. She also focuses on employee recruitment, engagement, and wellbeing.

Vanessa was born and raised in southern California. She is a Navy Veteran (Yokosuka, Japan) and a recipient of the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal. She moved to Bay City in 2013 and joined MCHD as an HR Generalist in 2017 before accepting her current position in 2022.

Vanessa received her MBA in Human Resources Management from the University of Houston Victoria.
