Start the morning with the Pink Out 5K Fun Run/Walk, then stay for breast exam screenings and mammograms, genetic testing and colon cancer screening information, diabetes education, women’s health booths, coffee, flowers, and more. Join us for one portion of the day or stay for all of it.

Pink Out 5K Fun Run/Walk
Registration opens at 7 a.m. The run/walk starts at 8 a.m. from the Wellness Center parking lot. Ages 21 and up, $25. Ages 20 and under, $20. Tutus, wigs, and matching team shirts are encouraged. Register online for the 5K here, or sign up the morning of the event beginning at 7 a.m. If you’re interested in early packet pickup, you can do so on Thursday, October 1, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Wellness Center (the Dome) on the hospital campus.
Women’s Day of Health Events
Breast exam screenings are available with our women’s health providers, Dr. Shittu, Dr. Rutledge, and Meaghan White, FNP-BC. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are appreciated. Call (979) 323-9900 to schedule. Financial assistance options are available. Cost should not be the reason anyone skips this. Ask about it when you call.
Screening mammograms are available for women 40 and older. Other health or age-related restrictions, considerations, or recommendations may apply, so ask when you call.

- A walk-through inflatable human colon model
- Diabetes education and women’s health information booths
