Children's Immunizations
The Public Health Clinic (PHC) offers low cost immunizations to eligible children up to 18 years of age through the Texas Vaccines for Children Program of the Texas Department of State Health Services.
Under the TVFC Program immunizations are provided for a low cost administration fee to the following groups of children: uninsured or underinsured children, children covered by CHIP, children who are of Native American or Native Alaskan heritage, and children on Medicaid.
The TVFC Program covers all vaccines recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and approved by the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Children’s immunizations are available by scheduled appointment by calling 979-245-8421.
