Physical Therapy also provides wound care for wounds with various etiologies such as diabetes, venous or arterial insufficiencies, infections, spider bites, slow or non-healing surgical sites, failing skin grafts or trauma.

Comprehensive Wound Care

Matagorda Regional Medical Center now offers a comprehensive wound care program. This program includes a variety of ways to treat problem wounds. On order of a physician, the Wound Center will evaluate the patient and determine a course of treatment that may include physical therapy, surgery, or other modalities.
