Donor Opportunities

Honorariums/Memorials
To recognize your loved ones with a donation, Honorariums and Memorials are a wonderful way to demonstrate your affections. Notes of recognition are sent to the honoree or to the family of the individual who has passed away. Anonymity will also be respected if desired.


Campaigns
“Building the Best Close to Home” Campaign is a three year campaign that spans 2009-2011. This campaign’s purpose is to secure funds to purchase new furniture, equipment, and other items for the new Medical Center. So far we have received over $970,000 in gifts and in return have been able to donate over $500,000 to the Medical Center to purchase new furniture and equipment.

Our Annual Campaign kicks off every year to raise funds for growing our foundation. We seek to secure funds to pay for operating costs and to invest in the future of the foundation to support its mission.


Healing Garden (Bricks/Pavers)
An area outside the new hospital’s emergency room has been designated for a healing garden. The purpose of the garden is to provide an area of comfort and serenity for families and visitors. Naming opportunities are also available for the garden:

  • Bricks (4in x 8in) $250
  • Pavers (12in x 12in) $500

(Bricks and Pavers are engravable with a message of your choice.)

Naming Rights
Your gift can also be a meaningful way to leave a legacy. There are Naming Opportunities available on a first-come basis for designated areas with in Matagorda Regional Medical Center. Some example naming opportunities:

  • Imaging Center ($1,000,000)
  • Women’s Center ($500,000)
  • Main Lobby ($100,000)
  • Senior Care Unit ($100,000)
  • ER Waiting Area ($50,000)
  • Conference Room ($25,000)
  • ICU Rooms ($5,000)
  • Senior Care Rooms ($5,000)
  • Medical/Surgical Rooms
